"Color Dialogue" is a one-on-one exploration of color between the participant and the artist. The participant imagines a color and describes it. The description can be abstract, relate to an experience associated with the color, or take any form. As the participant describes the color, the artist mixes colors based on the description. When the artist feels they have achieved the color the participant imagined,

Color Dialogueは参加者と作家の一対一で行われる、色を探索する作業である。参加者は色をイメージし、イメージした色について説明を行う。その説明は抽象的でも、その色に関係する経験を説明するでも、どのような形でも構わない。説明を聞いている間、作家はその説明に基づき、混色をしていく。作家が参加者がイメージした色に辿り着いたと感じたら、混色した色を参加者に見せる。そこからさらに追加の説明をもらい続けるか、お互いが納得する（あるいは、中断せざる負えない状況になる）まで、やりとりを続ける。
