Terra de Ninguem - Participatory Performance
In this participatory performance, a group of participants enters the exhibition room and engages in a series of tasks, such as carrying a heavy bag, playing ball games, or simply observing as a viewer. The duration of the viewing time is limited by the period during which participants are involved in these tasks within the exhibition.
この参加型パフォーマンスでは、参加者のグループが展示室に入り、重いバッグを運んだり、ボールゲームをしたり、あるいは単に鑑賞者として観察したりといった一連の作業に取り組む。鑑賞時間は、参加者が展示室内でこれらの作業に没頭する時間によって制限される。
Their theme is "the roots of things." It is related to her upbringing in Japan with both Japanese and Brazilian parents. Although they appears Japanese, the relationship between her visual appearance and the concept of the artwork overlaps with her parents, who are internally Brazilian. The texts accompanying the objects question the meaning of the other displayed objects in the space. Similarly, the objects in question also contain contents that indicate other objects. While wandering through the venue in search of the meaning of the objects, an unexpected catch error occurs, and viewers are forcefully expelled from the space. In the end, viewers are thrown out of the space without reaching the meaning of the artwork.
